English League Football [26th Feb - 2nd Mar 2010] **spoilers**

I didn't see the tackle very well as I was falling half asleep but it must have been fairly bad judging by the expression on everyones faces. Shawcross obviously didn't mean to go in and snap Ramsey's leg in two so I hope he doesn't blame himself too much for the incident. It sounded pretty shocking but as the Sky+ is in the other room I didn't have chance to rewind it and see for myself.

Hopefully it won't be the end of Ramsey's career as I thought he'd had a decent game upto that point, showing a few nice touches to put team mates in space.

Well if Arsenal don't want teams to play that way against them, why play with skinny, tricky little players that encourage it? Players like Nasri and Walcott that look like they're just out of nappies, and players like Ramsey and Wilshere that are just out of nappies :p

Teams try to bully them because they see that as a weakness of Arsenal.

You seemed to have missed my point. These kind of injuries are going to happen when you set out to play in that particular aforementioned style. We've had injuries in between Eduardo and this that have been as a result of fouls. It seems to be an attitude to "rough up" Arsenal, as said before, fine, be physical but some teams cross the line.

Ahh, sorry - I misunderstood.

Yeah, we have a completely different gameplan before we play Arsenal. Tony sends the lads down to fight club first.

Watch us in other games, we play no different.

P.S - again... watch the challange. I bet there was a dozen of those flying around this weekend in other games! It's just bad luck - or your players are very susceptible to injury.

2 years ago Eduardo would have buried that chance. You could see in his striking action that he didn't want to risk getting any contact as he struck the ball. Perhaps understandbly given the injury he had, but Arsenal need him to convert those chances.

I've seen much worse tackles which haven't caused injury, BUT, it was still a bad tackle. Doesn't matter if it was the worse tackle in history or just a little bad. It was slightly late and its caused a horrific injury. No justification for it.

If every player thought like that prior to making a challange.. there would be hardly any tackles made in a game of football.

If you want a nonce game go watch volleyball.
