Five stars again Linoge, expecting a lot of goals this weekend. Hopefully Rooney can keep his run going, hard to pick what the team will be at the moment, I'd like to see Nani start again but I also want to see Valencia as well, I guess it's a nice selection dilemma to have though.

I reckon Nani will play today while Valenica will start away to Villa. I hope we don't see the start of Valencia being tried in the middle or the left, or Nani moved to the left on his current form.

It's definitely his natural role on the right, on the left defenders know how to play against him, on the right, on his stronger foot he's more confident. It's just a shame Valencia is in good form too at the same time and one of them has to be dropped for the other to play.

But as far as sheer ability Nani is streets ahead, something we've always known but rarely seen. I really hope this marks a new era for Nani. I won't be happy if he's switched to the left today. Ferguson's comments about him recently about how shy he is, was news to me, I always got the impression he was a loud character but it's obviously had an affect on his confidence at times.

god I hate early kick offs. Especially after an awards dinner that didn't end till gone 1am...

Handing out 'most improved' and '100% attendance' awards already in Liverpool are they? :p

Fellaini should have went as well. This game is out of hand. Bloody hell how bad is the refereeing in the EPL? Deary me.

Just seen slow replays of that red card challenge. The only injuries are on Kyrgiakos. As much as the 2 footed lunge was stupid, Fellaini knew exactly what he was doing, disgraceful really, especially considering him nearly taking Kuyts face off and elbowing the greek earlier in the game.

Terrible game really, and Peinaar should be off. Its not going to end well IMO.

I take it you haven't seen the footage of Fellaini's shin then? He could barely walk after receiving treatment and was subbed because of it.

Disappointed with Everton in this second half, you'd think it was them playing with 10 men and not Liverpool. Liverpool covering every blade of grass and looking more likely to score.

Van der Sar, Neville, Brown, Jonathan Evans, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Fletcher, Nani, Berbatov, Rooney.
Subs: Kuszczak, Owen, Park, Fabio Da Silva, Gibson, De Laet, Diouf.

Now that is an attacking line up!!

But NEVILLE?!? Has Fergie lost his ******* mind, his last appearance was just abysmal. I'd rather have Fabio, Rafael or De Late there, or PIG for that matter.

To be fair, Portsmouth at Old Trafford and as much as I don't like discounting teams, it's going to be one way traffic so this game will suit Neville more. However if he turns out to be the reason why Portsmouth get into the game, he should never play again. :p

Hope Nani isn't on the left. His options are limited down that flank.

Arsenal have come out with some very defeatist remarks this week. Between Arshavin and Wenger I don't know who is more negative about Arsenal's chances at the title/trophies this season.

I think he meant it. He elbowed Kyriakos in the box earlier in the game then kicked Kuyt in the face after the whistle had blown for a foul then jumped in two footed. It was exactly the same sort of tackle that Axel Witsel did when he snapped Wasilewski's leg. He's a vicious **** and does stuff like that all the time.

I think he meant it too. He has that nasty streak about him. I think the correct decision would have been to send them both off but the referee had a right mare whole game with a lot of decisions and cards. Luckily for Liverpool, they were able to fight on and score to win the game.

No.

They were both bad "tackles", Fellaini's challenege wasn't worse or better then the Liverpool players tackle.

It's just "worse" because he doesn't play for Liverpool.

I don't think that Fellaini's tackle was on purpose either, but I do think they were both red cards.

Fellaini's actual challenge was much worse than Kyriakos' challenge on him. Both definite red cards and the more I watch it, the more apparent it is that Fellaini went in to hurt Kyriakos for flying in like he did, and as bad as it looked at the time, very little real contact from Kyriakos.

So going in with two feet up is okay?
Baz is that you?

Kyriakos's tackle was awful, Fellaini's wansn't any better but I kinda think he was reacting to the lunge by the Liverpool player.

Both red cards though.

Can you read? Where did I say going in with two feet up was ok? And then you go on to say exactly what I did say.
