English League Football [8th - 12th May 2010] **spoilers**

BBC

Leeds goal: Incredible. Leeds were down and out about five minutes ago... now they are going up. Bradley Johnson's cross deceives the Rovers defence and Jermaine Pennant is in the right place to bury the loose ball for his 33rd goal of the season. Leeds are back in second place... whether they will stay there is anybody's guess.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I've been quite literally jumping up and down since the final whistle, don't make it easy for ourselves but god it feels good to finally go up!

Yep I am pleased for Leeds, about time they got out of that division, would like to see them back in the premiership

Oh what a day yesterday!

Me and my friends were in York all day on a sesh, three of us Leeds supporters, was unbearable, we had Man U fans giving us jip all day, celebrating when Gradel went (what an idiot) then Rovers scored, I was nearly crying. I must have sunk 5 pints in the first half!! Then it all changed second half, managed to watch the last 15mins in some dodgy pub showing a stream of it on the web!
My word, what a game, awful watching it, 10 men since the 34th minute. Howson with a wonder goal then who else to score the winner, you could see his joy when he was subbed in the 93rd minute, whether he'll stay is unknown but it looked like it was his farewell when he left the field.
He did his job, 32 goals this season and he was pretty bad for a lot of the games.

Grayson has done a great job!

Hopefully we can attract some decent players for next season, a whole new defence is needed and GK.

LEEDS LEEDS LEEDS \O/

Wigan are 22/1 to win. Surely that's a bit high?

Not really, they have no chance what so ever of getting anything other than a comprehensive thrashing at stamford bridge.

Its like people on the telly saying its crunch time for the title, its not, once Ferguson put out that starting line up against Blackburn which failed to do anything other than bore the fans to death for 90 minutes, its been nothing but a formality for chelsea to lift the title this year.

I'm going for a routine 2-0 for chelsea who will score early then strangle the life out of the match for 80 odd minutes.

As much as i want United to win, you are right that he blew it at Blackburn. Not against Chelsea as Fergie has said in the paper. If he won at Blackburn then today United should be champions.

Completely agree.

Cardiff beat Leicester.

Leicester played 4 - 5 - 1 at home and didn't look to do much going forward until they added another striker for the last quarter of the game :/
