Not trying to be funny. Spurs fans talk of him as if he's the future of England. He's really not that special...sure he's got great technique, good passing and a sweet strike on him but he hasn't got much more to offer.

I've seen him a few times and for the England young'uns, his passing on occasion's was outstanding.

He also, strikes the ball very well.

Sssh Andy. Apparently being able to pass and shoot doesn't make you any good. You also need to be able to hold down 4 relationships and 2 full-time jobs.

Obviously there's a lot more to a footballer than listing three of their strong traits. You could go on forever as to why Scholes constitutes as a 'good player'
