He went in to block it, and only caught Koscielny's leg when it landed after making the clearance. If he had gone through his standing leg it would have been filthy, but he didn't.

Not the best tackle at all probably a red but don't think Cole was looking to dive in and do it just a genuine mistimed tackle.
Seen worse ones than that given only yellows or even nowt though.

It was reckless, but it wasn't like a diagonal studs up on the side of the leg that you see all the time, it was more of a scissor type thing, kinda. Won't always see red for that, if a card sometimes.

I agree, but you often see teams that go down to 10 men up the pace and play better, you never know.
As can a perfectly legitimate tackle.

The player for making the horrible tackle?
The ref for giving (imo) the correct decision?
It's helping set a standard already, you can't get away with making tackles like that.
Good old Wangers transfer policy! Still need a goalkeeper and a center half.

Wow! I think you need to calm down and re-read my post. Point out where I accused you of something, I actually asked a question, maybe you don't understand the concept of a discussion board but it's where people ask each other things and state their points of view, if you can't handle that in a mature manner then don't post.
Sigh, was expecting that. My point is that you're a lot more likely to break a players leg if you lock the joint.
