Johnson was very good against Liverpool...instead of staying on the byline and crossing he was cutting in which was clever really because Agger is a big lump and many crosses would be blocked straight away where as Johnson can use his dribbling to get in behind defenders and for the penalty he does what hes done a few times...knock the ball ahead but keep his feet 'dragging' so if he gets caught by a tackle its a penalty/freekick.
Potentially world class, he's hardly played enough to be considered it now. Lol @ Johnson though, he's just an above average, quite skillful winger?

This is the first time I've seen it linked from the main BBC football pages. I don't really use iPlayer at all, but I thought only the Sports' pages themselves showed a 'live' stream on a Saturday/Sunday night.

Its the licence to show the highlights of EPL games on the internet that was the problem, not their own show.
yeah randomly Virgin Media had that license last year, so if you went to the Virgin Website (which no-one in their right mind would do) you used to be able to find little highlight reels from the Premier League.
Also Andy Gray; his analysis is generally spot-on, but two things irk me - whenever anyone scores he gets way too excited 'TAKE A BOW SON BECAUSE THAT IS CLASS' etc. and of all these stupid touch-screen gadgets he uses on the resurrected MNF are so unnecessary. I don't need to watch highlights on a TV on a TV! Silly...

Andy Gray is just an excellent employee.
He promotes the English league at every given opportunity, harps on about World Class English players, how the English game is better then everywhere else ect ect
I agree, he analyses the game well and often points out bad defending ect ect, but he's no better at this then the BBC people, his gadgets bloody annoy me.
