Spurs look totally devoid of ideas, and lacklustre all over the pitch. Thanks Champs league.
Wasn't Ekotto completely crap a few times recently though, he was hauled off what, 25-30mins into that Young Bhoys travesty of an away performance, had to be taken off again today, likewise Kaboul at right back with a not in form/back from injury Lennon. Up against a team parking the bus you really need the extra manpower of a left/right back getting involved, running in and making gaps in the defence, same deal with central midfield, with Huddlestone you have someone who will foul people all game long, but not really a fast smart runner into the box which is the kind of thing you need in a game like that.
Spurs played themselves into it really by being crap in the first CL leg, Redknapp going all out in the second leg(schoolboy error, a weak Spurs team would have thrashed them).
Personally I would also think Crouch would be very unsuited to a game with little space to work in, you want a faster more agile player on.
No 6-0s yet today. Boring, to be honest!![]()
West Ham to play yet, even though they can be Utd's bogey team. West Ham are still adjusting to a new manager, they were VERY good last week for the first 45 minutes, should have been several goals up by half time, but they shouldn't be a problem for Utd today if Scholes/Berb continue their current form. 6-0 might be pushing it though.
