Although Nani is a million times better than Valencia, his one on one decision making is terrible.
lol, cheers BBC. Put a picture of a Stoke player next to Terry for the accompanying "Terry and Lampard out" article to help fuel the pre-determined impression that all the clueless tards have about us, even though their injuries were pre-match. Nice one.
Why, what happened.
Only 60 of them turned up lol. To put that into context a small London team in the Championship took 1655 fans to Derby today.
Nani came inside, he dropped deep, he went wide, he went through the middle, he picked the ball up off the defence and set off attacks, he scored a goal, set up a goal, got some tackles in, harrased the man on the ball.....
The side just looks so much more dynamic going forward when he plays on the right, theres no getting away from the fact he is a poor mans Ronaldo, but by the same token there is no getting away from the fact that Valencia is a poor mans Nani.
It's true Nani has the greater ability of the two and the greater goal threat. But at the end of the day, as wingers, their primary job is to consistantly put in accurate and well timed crosses/passes. In this respect Valencia could still teach Nani a thing or two.
Having said that, it's often missed just how much better Nani plays in his actual position (big surprise). Too many have judged him on his displays on the left side.
But if he can become as comfortable on the left as he is on the right they will make a solid pairing.
