Hi there,

Ok I have an Antec Truepower Trio 550W which has 3x12V rails with 18A on each. Is this enough to power a 8800GTS?

Your thoughts please.

Thanks

I would have thought so - I think that's what my Seasonic does. I think the spec is 12V with 26A, so combined you should be okay.

Thanks for the replies guys. I am goin for it!! :D

You getting one too Loadsa? (do you know how many they have in the warehouse?)

Cheaper or more expensive? BFG? I can't believe I'm selling my X1950 Pro I just bought a few weeks ago!! After all the trouble of RMA!

eh? Mishima?

When I reply I see the image! Are you about to add a PSU to your basket :)

It should be enough I think my current PSU. There are other people with the GTS running similar spec PSU's just a bit shocking the consumption!

Sorry to Hi Jack a bit but thought I might aswell post in this thread rarther than create a new one as Ive got same question

Would my OCZ Modstream 450Watt be enough for a BFG 320mb 8800GTS or am I going to need to get a new one curerntly got a X1950pro running no probs

Cheers

Btw, just been onto BFG website (should have done this before posting thread really) and it says under minimum specifications for the GTS:

A 400W PCI Express-compliant system power supply with a combined 12V current rating of 26A or more*
