Hi there,

Ok I have an Antec Truepower Trio 550W which has 3x12V rails with 18A on each. Is this enough to power a 8800GTS?

Your thoughts please.

Thanks

I would have thought so - I think that's what my Seasonic does. I think the spec is 12V with 26A, so combined you should be okay.

I can confirm that your PSU will be more than fine.

GlobalWin 520w SuperSilent here with 28a on the 12v rail, hopefully it'll handle it for me, as it handles my x1800 XT 512mb no probs, and that needs some power. :)

eh? Mishima?

When I reply I see the image! Are you about to add a PSU to your basket :)

It should be enough I think my current PSU. There are other people with the GTS running similar spec PSU's just a bit shocking the consumption!

Btw, just been onto BFG website (should of done this before posting thread really) and it says under minimum specifications for the GTS:

A 400W PCI Express-compliant system power supply with a combined 12V current rating of 26A or more*
