EOS450D or D60?

properly? live view isnt some kind of cheating way, it's a genuinely useful tool for getting shots you otherwise couldnt especialyl when combined with remote control from a PC/laptop and a boom. I use it for interior shots when i really can't get far enough back etc.

It's not some kinda "n00b" feature like green square, every camera on the market has it even the top end pro stuff like the 1DSmk3 and D3x......are they not "proper"? :p

Im just showing my skill level here to be honest lol, ima gonna shush..

Lol, no point wasting your time explaining, Tom. He'll just make a thread about it :p

So true, dont explain anything technical because a question or a thread will appear :p

has anybody had any problem with colours ?
when i view them on the camera they look great....yet when i copy them over to my computer they look like the screen is in 256 colours.

viewing them in photoshop is a bit better but still not the same.....my last 2 canon camera's didnt have this problem at all. i can understand the colours being setup a bit different but this doesnt even look close....especially pink and red....pink lipstick looks like it was crayoned onto the persons face.

also had a problem when shooting indoors when the room wasnt very well lit...unless i shoot in portrait night mode the photo's are terrible.....quite a bit of noise and a massive brown/red push even when i use a grey card or flick through every white balance.

even on all auto my little ixus wipes the floor with it.

1 more thing.....when the room isnt too well lit im getting little lines running through the lcd like a scart lead not completely plugged into the back of the t.v.

actually i think im going to exchange it for another 450d....just to give me piece of mind.

a reply to myself but for all those who were so concerned with my problem:p......the replacement camera is much much better.

colours now are the same on the monitor and on the camera.....white balancing actually works too.

glad i kept my faith in canon and just got the camera replaced rather than changing brands.

i hope you don't mean me by that :p I've used all of these cameras far more than enough to know them ;)
Not at all mate. Rather more of the continued telling of us all, including you, about how good X is, or Y is, presumably, as read in a magazine! Anyway, looks like he's sorted now - should see a lot less threads now! [insert relieved smiley]

Just do what we all do, buy Canon!
