Epic Food Poisoning - Is there anything I can do?

You'll need to go to the doctors for a diagnosis before environment health will do anything, thats what they told me.
I was better by this point.

And I wouldn't eat, it'll fire out as fast as it goes in.

I’ve had food poison a few times in my time, maximum 5 days which isn’t nice. Just drink a lot of water and get rid of it at both ends. I nearly lost my older brother to a severe case of food poising years ago. He was in hospital for weeks and had all sorts of tubes and stuff pumped through him.

Yeah Environmental Health is a good plan. You say no one else at home has it, does that include people that went to the restaurant? Some rehydration sachets are a good idea (work well for hangovers too!). The only other thing I would suggest is give the place some bad reviews on the net.

I don't go to take-aways or dodgy restaurants. I ate a take-away for the first time last month. Wasn't too pleased I'll say.

You sure it's not a sickness bug??

aye I was thinking this, could be a really bad coincidence lol.

I've only ever had food poisoning once and I was constantly throwing up and had poo like water for nearly 3 days. I got it from a large latte at the train/bus station in Hull lol. They kept reheating the milk as my friend also had exactly the same and also was very ill.

Reported the shop to environmental health and the machine it came from and the person who served me havent been seen there since :D

My sisters got really ill when they where younger after eating chicken chow mein. They each lost over 2 stone and where out of it for 3 weeks. My mother got in touch with the environmental health people and after inspecting they where apparently appalled at how filthy it was and it was immediately shut down.

I got food poisoning from a dodgy Chinese once from rice, was horrible, put me off the stuff for years.

Yep there's some weird bacteria in rice which can survive really high temperatures....

Rice is one of the only things I will not reheat for this reason, I'd rather cook some fresh rice anyway.

are you the only person who went to this thing that has stomach problems? cuz if we're talking undercooked food here, why would yours have been the only one

since nobody else in the home has stomach problems (but they've eaten exactly the same meals as me) I'm guessing that it has to be the restaurant.

That makes no sense, if it was dodgy food surely you would all be ill?
