Epic is giving away big games for the next few weeks again

Epic has no offline mode like steam? Sounds like an epic fail
steam often has the same problem esp around big launches and plenty of games on steam won't work if the servers drop even some 1 player games
not excusing epic at all but let's not forget valve are not perfect either (indeed I still blame them for starting the forced install of 3rd party software to play a game in the 1st place)

Epic really hitting the heights now.
Definitely been a lot less bigger name titles in the giveaway this year, only really Other Worlds and the rest has all been small titles. Maybe its finally catching up with Epic GS and they're needing to tighten their belts a bit

It doesn't look much different to last year to me?

This year we have had Destiny 2 Legacy Collection, Ghostwire Toko and The Outer Worlds Spacers Choice & still have 5 days to go.

Tomorrow's has pictures of disco balls. Presuming it's Disco Elysium, which is an utterly fantastic game, but I've already got it on two consoles!

Tried twice. 10-12 hours the second time and given up.

I like point and click. I like character based story.

This is boring as hell, and going by reviews and everything I read beforehand, I'm completely wrong.

I bought it on ZP's recommendation and hated it. Just bored me, like you say.

Might just be that to me they feel like smaller titles.. this years 11 titles so far are

Destiny 2
DNF Duel
Melvor Idle
Art of Rally
Fallout 3
Ghostwire
Outer Worlds
Human Resource Machine
Cursed to Golf
Cat Quest
Snakebird Complete

Now if I compare that to the first 11 from last year :

1) Destiny 2 vs Bloons TD 6
2) DNF Deul vs Horizon Chase Turbo
3) Melvor Idle vs Costume Quest 2
4) Art of Rally vs Sable
5) Fallout 3 vs Thems Fightin Herds
6) Ghostwire vs Wolfenstein
7) Outer Worlds vs Lego Builders Journey
8) Human Resource Machine vs Fallout Collection
9) Cursed to Golf vs Encased
10) Cat Quest vs Metro Last Light
11) Snakebird Complete vs Death Stranding

In terms of bigger titles vs smaller titles, my breakdown of that vs comparison would be ..

1) 2023
2) 2022
3) tied
4) tied
5) 2023
6) tied
7) 2023
8) 2022
9) tied
10) 2022
11) 2022

So I end up with 3 bigger titles in 2023 and 8 titles which were bigger or similar last year. However, having said that, in all of the titles I've listed above, from last year and this year combined, theres none that I want/wanted so that might have something to do with it too :D

Surprised Metro Exodus Gold doesn't come up as it's been as cheap as ~£5 on official sites, and cdkeys has/had it up for ~£3
Got to agree with that, always a touch surprised that Metro Exodus hasnt turned up yet as a freebie, superb title, my GOTY for 2019 and can be had for peanuts now, you'd think it would be ripe for a giveaway. Maybe it will be this years New Years Eve/Day title
