eSRAM the reason Xbox One struggles with 1080p?

As the Xbox ONE is improving over time. Which it will indeed do, So will the PS4.

As the PS4 improves, and runs games via its improved SDK. Xbox ONE will attempt to run those same games. No doubt with a similar performance gap as is seen now.

Personally, That doesnt stop me wanting an Xbox ONE. I have a PS4. I need an Xbox ONE because it doesnt matter how big the gap is between the 2 consoles, the PS4 won't play the Xbox ONE exclusives :D

Thats my 2p anyways.

I had both and I would say nothing on the Xbox 360 came close to the PS3 exclusives in terms of visuals.

Were in my post did I say only own one console? I think you need to get a gripe on life.. Not often on the forum do I come across someone I think is a bit of a, but you've managed it.

And your opinion is based on what exactly? you've been informed in this thread about how each console performs, why on earth would I not accept it? You really do come across as quite deluded.
 
The same argument happened last generation with the PS3 being slated for having an inferior GPU to the 360. That generation ended with the PS3 having some of the most stunning games I have seen even comparing to the new consoles now.

Hardware spec's are one thing but a superb developer is the key which Naughtydog and Quantic Dream proved with the PS3.

The 360 was praised for having the 10mb embedded frame buffer allowing compressed textures. The PS3 was said to be too complicated and will never match the visuals of the Xbox 360.

Yes but these games had taken advantage of the Cell chip so that's mainly why they got so much performance out of the PS3. Multiformat games generally didnt do this. As the architecture is practically the same this gen with a very similar CPU in the X1 you would see the X1 put out anything close to what the PS4 can do as CPU a side (almost identical) the GPU and RAM far exceed the X1.

I agree my point is that the dedicated exclusive developers will make each console shine. Mulitplatform games are generally recycled crap anyway.

Personally I cannot wait to see what Naughtydog do with the PS4 but I'm also looking forward to seeing how the new Halo game looks and plays with 10x the performance over 360 it's still going to look good.

I think people have become too engrossed in the hardware spec's and forget about the games. Whichever you buy and any hardcore gamer will buy both anyway the games are going to look good.

You said the PS4 is the one to own did you not? Did you not dump your girl so you could play more games, and your telling me to get a grip on life?

My opinion is based on using both consoles, not on some numbers posted on a forum. I am not sure why me liking the XB1 more gets you all upset but best we leave it there otherwise you might over react some more....

Erm, did not dump my girlfriend to play video games, I dumped her as she was a control freak who wouldn't let me live my life...

And I said Ps4 is the one to get this time for multi plats - made no mention of only buying a Ps4 nor made any mention to X1 exclusives etc.. and I've used an X1, friend has one. Its ok, nothing to get overly excited about - Forza 5 looked and played nice. Wouldn't buy one just yet, no need for it.

The PS3 was a powerful beast it turned out, it just needed talent and money to unlock its potential, but it didn't stop the gaming press slating it over the odd small difference here and there for years.

The One isn't comparatively a powerful beast locked under a difficult development environment the scenario we have this time is much more stark in contrast. The difference is large, much bigger than last time and its mostly purely down to hardware, not software. This problem isn't going to go away this time round, I will be amazed if the Xbox One doesn't tank from here.

So is this now just a general ****ging match not related to the OP?

Can this thread be locked? It's served it's purpose, if people want to talk how it's outsold by the ps4 start a new thread.
