Where is the widget? I can't find one built in, and the market is full of paid ones?

Or search for 'Android Agenda Widget' on the market. It's free and awesome mainly because it's uber-customisable theme-wise from within the widget itself.

My theme is pretty straight-forward It's scrollable in LauncherPro/ADW, click the item to go to the entry and if you click the button in the bottom right of the widget, it comes up with a menu to add events, add tasks (with GTasks installed), view calendar etc. Pretty sweet and for free you can't really complain.

There's a Yahoo Mail app too which might work better?

Launcher Pro just updated to v.0.7.9.0 and added a Friend Stream style widget.

That's great thanks Would be nice to make the background more transparent but you can't have everything!

no probs and pretty sure you can make the background totally transparant:

click the widget > then menu button > settings icon

the third thingy down is the background - scroll to one at the end on the right

Sure? Not had any experience with K9 but doesn't it have its own access?

Aye. I had to eventually just disable all notifications from the inbuilt mail program. It still checks emails but I don't hear from it.

There is Unified Remote. Seems pretty good, havnt used it myself tho.

I cant seem to get titanium backup to installed. I have the phone rooted, but it says it cannot gain root access.

Pure calendar does that. It is totally skinnable and has the option of a totally transparent background.

Rich, how is it transparent?

You can turn off the background under Customize Appearance - you can pretty much customise anything through the settings program.

Can someone recommend a replacement keyboard app for my San Francisco?

1st android phone and finding the default one a little awkward to use,either that or i should put my fingers on a diet.

People swear by the HTC sense keyboard which someone ported so it's usable on any android phone.

Better Keyboard is what I use. It's the only keyboard and can really type quickly on.
