I tried it out and other than having a few more options and a better app tray they are pretty much the same, though the transition effects in LP are smoother.

Dolphin HD - Vry nice fast browser
Fancy Widget - clock and weather widget with more options than the default desire one i had.
GPS Status - pretty self explanitory
Layar - Augmented reality app
Titanium Backup - essential for backing up on rooted phones
Quick Boot - Another root app this lets you reboot into bootloader or recovery quickly
Quadrant - benchmark your phone
Skype - handy for free calls to other skype users (especially if they are in another country)
Solitaire - gotta have Solitaire
Timeriffic - Lets you control volume and other aspects of your phone according to user defined schedules
Transdroid - Access your torrent client remotely
SlideIT keyboard - IMO totaly essential as the standard touch keyboards are horrible
Tubemate - youtube app that lets you view and even download youtube vids

Don’t know, maybe they’re just starting with $ prices the way the Android Market started but I’m logged in with my account and it’s not ordering at the moment.
