Why does the market prevent you downloading apps anyway? Surely you should be able to try things whether they are supported or not.

Anyone on here use Swiftkey?
Just saw it on a friends phone and downloading the trial now. Seems there is two versions, A free trial version and 'swiftkey keyboard'.

Is it worth buying it? or do i just get the free one? What will i miss out on?

I've been using Swype since I got my Android phone, makes everything so much easier. Seems intuitive as well. Basically, using GoSMS with popups etc means I can read, reply and send texts with one hand in no time. It's not that important, but it's super convenient.

Well thank you for giving me 3 options now...grr!!!
I have also found another keyboard now which is the 2.3 Gingerbread one which so far is looking the nicest. So 4 options!

EDIT:
Smart Keyboard Pro is out. Doesnt fee comfortable.
Down to Swiftkey and Gingerbread.

Just to complicate it for you I use SlideIt Keyboard pro.

Just slide across the letters in the word and it figures out what you want.

How well does this actually work? I can't see it working that well myself, but obviously it must!

SlideIt is similar to Swype. There is a BETA possibly available for Swpye on their website, it's not widely available, but it does pre-load on a lot of handsets. Which handset do you have?

Works very well and words it does not know you can add to it's dictionary. It also has a quick switch to swap between slide and standard touch input.

Tried slideit but just didnt get used to it. 2.3 Gingerbread is perfect for me at the moment.

AFAIK if prevents you from downloading it because your phone does not support it.
*it* being 2.2, flash, adobe air etc.

No idea if it has been posted before but I am now using 'QuickPic' for viewing pictures and video's on both my X10 and Desire.

Very very fast, completly changed my X10 and has made serching through my pictures a far nicer experience and for what ever reason its now quicker than my Desire 0_o

So if you like a simple, no fluff app for viewing ya stuff give it a go, as a bonus its free

Office Suite Pro is what i use.
There is a free trial that you can try but for me it is the best.
