I’ll await the GoSMS update but I might just end up keeping the stock as my primary mms/sms app as it’s very effective yet simple.

does samsung now have a pop up on homescreen when you get a new text? i rarely go to the gosms app main screen as i just reply when iget each from my home screen so would miss it if i disabled gosms for now

No popup window no but I prefer notification bar for messages because then if I click back to read it later it's in the tray waiting for me to click and it doesn't wake the phone (by default) when it's in my pocket etc although that can all be customised in GoSMS/Handcent etc too.

Glad I didn't update to the latest version - I always hold back on updates for a few days to see if there are any issues.

Zenonia 3 is now out on the market; and unlike the first 2, it seems to be completely free

There are free versions of 1 and 2 there atm, not sure if they are ad supported though and the new one isn't?

Edit: Ah I see they are only demo versions.

Yea its a lot better, a full battery was lasting 15 hours, since installing it yesterday ive still got 42% left so its all good.

If you're in another country that feature is a god-send, when I was in HK earlier this month I'd go on wifi in the hotel, then venture out keeping maps up so it would stay cached (roaming is £6 per MB for data on o2 ).
