Yes just extract the apk using any of the number of file managers out there. Easiest is via Titanium Backup.

The apk will be stored in /data/app, you'll need root to copy it from there :).

Edit: That's if you're using a file explorer, rather than Titanium Backup, file explorer is easier than Titanium for one app imo :p.

Market 3.4.4 for anyone interested:

Changelog:
- Added free songs of the week;
- Designed for Google Music;
- New setting: Auto-update app;
- New setting: Update over Wi-Fi only;
- New setting: Auto-add shortcut;
- Smaller font;
- New app drawer icon;
- Microphone (voice command) button in search menu;
- Star rating chart on app page;
- Minor UI tweak.

Bit smoother that 3.3.x :)
I wondered why I got the "Terms have changed" thing when I went into the market last night.

What version number has it been? I copy pasted the changelog from XDA so maybe the log was from a previous release but 3.4.4 is new so you can't have had this version for weeks.

I didn't mean I had the new one for weeks, I just meant that most of those features were in the previous build :)

Looks like they have added some kind of caching for the icons as they now load near instantly and therefore the scrolling is super smooth!

Yay.

Sorry for being lazy and not looking through the thread, is there a view on the best remote desktop app for android?

I've seen a few on the market and they all have mixed reviews. Just curious if anyone has tried some, what they felt to be the best.

Splashtop Remote is generally well recommended and I found it really quite good with Windows. Doesn't work with Linux unfortunately so I don't get to use it much.
