any way to download iplayer content for use later without connection? i'd like to listen to shows when at the gym and can't get into it when the phone is constalty streaming so would be nice to download when over wifi for playing later

I would use an application called SMS Unread Count for this

Skype has been updated and now doesn't take an eternity to load properly and seems to initiate calls without locking up.

Do you use use Go Launcher (if not, why not?)? If so just download and install Go Launcher EX notification from the market.

I tried go launcher and uninstalled it 20 mins later. Not for me im afraid.

What was the problem? Launchers are complex if you're new to them and 20mins is nowhere near enough time to check out all their features.

Hmm, Amazon App store has started saying it's not available in my region

. Have they started checking IP locations? Will have a look later if it's fine for everyone else.

Admittedly Ive never used one before and being used to the stock phone menu's etc, Go just seemed 'so different in a confusing way'. Some things looked good, ie moving from one screen to another with lovely effects, and being able to have smaller fonts under the icons.

Hmmm, after reading that back I think I couldnt use it because I knew how the phone worked before and Go changed a lot of things. Ill try it again and see how it goes.

Tried changing address/CC details, then tried signing in via US proxy, neither worked. You can buy apps on the site when using a US proxy though, so I've got it working again

Will see if I can download tomorrows app of the day on the phone or whether I'll have to keep buying on the site via proxy.
