A few questions about Cerberus:
Can I configure it soI can use 3 different SIM cards in my phone? I travel a lot so want to have 3 'safe' SIM cards registered, but obviously any others send an alarm.

If I take a picture using the web interface to 'catch' someone using my phone, it gets sent to my gmail so shows up instantly on the phone anyway, they'll know what I'm doing? Then probably just trash the phone for the sake of it? How can I make that part secret.

Otherwise I like the idea of it!

Could you not remotely lock the phone and then quickly take a picture? This is assuming the perp gets to the phone before it's locked.

Yes, when you boot up with a new sim Cerberus will think someone has nicked your phones, it will email (or SMS someone, if you specify) you when it gets an active data connection telling you the details. Just load up Cerberus and go into Sim Manager and authorise the sim. you can add many authorised sims no problem and swap between them thereafter.

As for the second question, you can lock the phone first and take pictures at any time but the beauty of Cerberus is that you can specify auto photo capture if the person who has it enters the wrong unlock code once/twice etc.

Here is what you can do currently:

One license also covers 5 devices, which is pretty awesome.

Amazing software especially for the price! I have heard reports of the police supposedly suggesting you do an insurance claim even if you present them with e.g. Cerberus data and the location of the stolen device. Not sure if it is true though.

If they have access to your email account, them getting the photo would be the last thing I'd worry about. First thing I would do is remotely wipe the device, assuming Cerberus stays installed if rooted. At the very least I'd be changing the password on my email account first anyway.
