Im assuming you know there's GO Launcher EX 3.00 but its in beta at the mo.

V3.00 Beta 2 update:
1. (New) UI 3.0 theme with new icons
If you are new user, we will apply UI 3.0 theme automatically, and if you update GO Launcher from old version, you should get into the theme settings to apply the new default theme.

A lot of people required this feature. So here it is!

Here comes the big thing! We rewrote the code of home screen and grid, now you can use whole screen without dock!

can anyone recommend an outlook sync app - the built in apps are all well and good but my company's security policy seems to want to make me put a 6 character password with numbers and symbols so nuts to that...

I've been playing with Moxier but the task widget is pretty shocking (only shows my completed tasks).

I've used Touchdown for the past year. Expensive at around £12 for the full version but it just works and works well.
 
I use Samba - works over wifi (don't know how swiftp works, never used it) and I've never had any speed issues at all. I've copied files over 100mb from pc to phone and it's definitely faster doing it that way than to actually download the file on the phone itself!

It will be the same as swiftp pretty much.

Just I was copying 3 1080P videos over from my phone to PC (about 40 MB each) and according to windows was going to take 50 minutes, so thought "xxxx that!" *cancel* :p Shouldn't take that long a on 29MB download with 3MB upload connection (should be getting 60MB DLL and 6MB UL connection though, stupid virgin and their crappy superhub!!!!! :mad:)

The better ones can only use 2 or 3%. I've found they make my SGS and bit slower to respond though.
 
is there an app for moving around icons on the status bar?

wouldn't mind getting my monitoring things (network speed, battery % etc) moved across to the right hand side
