It is a homescreen / app draw replacement there are plenty more launchers on the play store also, It mimics the stock Android launcher in terms of looks but allows for a lot more customisation.
Folders, Icons, theme packs & a lot more.
What you see at the moment when you are on your main screen on the S4 is a launcher called Touchwiz
It's a type of theme that Google has set to allow different apps feel the same, so all the apps won't feel too different to each other and more unified:

Makes the device feels more clean compared to a mix of different stuff.
Been trying swype out and the swype typing is very nice, definitely handles the double letters better i.e. when it comes to "to" and "too" but........ still prefer 4.2 keyboard overall 
Nicer UI overall imo, not "much" worse than swype and swiftkey for me.

Hey guys, here's something that has really frustrated me since switching to the Nexus 4.
On my old phone, the One X, I could pop open my dial pad, and hit the numbers that spelled out my friends name.
So I'd dial 2,6,2 to spell Bob, his name would pop up into the dial area and I could call him instantly.
Now on the Nexus 4, the dial pad is completely useless for calling existing contacts because there's no integration between the dial pad and my contacts. I have to tap over to my contacts section and scroll/search for the person. Really annoying.
JellyBean must have some feature to do the above?
If not....what app?

Are there any tweaks to make the media seek bar behave like it does in ios, or is it entirely app dependant? I find it a bit annoying at the moment trying to precisely scrub through a long podcast or something. Ios had a pretty great system where after you press the seek bar, you can drag your finger up or down, and the further away you drag, the slower the fast forwarding or rewinding is. It works really when, and I'm sad I can't seem to find an Android alternative.

How do you set this up with the standard JB app. SMS popup just isn't working properly.
I don't think you can do it with the stock JB app, I'm fairly sure it's a feature that was included with CM10.1.

Oh right, I'm not sure how to go about it then.
I tried Handcent briefly but it was so bloated it put me off. SMS popup is perfect.....when it works.
Go SMS - and turn off all the features you don't use
Have they made that available to people not using Go Launcher now then???
lol it's always been completely separate - been using it for years
