Boat Browser has had an update today bringing a nicer UI with Themes built in.

It's my browser of choice for speed and features.

First of all you choose the main folder with all your music in the Settings.
When a piece of music is playing you can use the Shuffle button to decide how you want your music played.
Where the song title is and the timebar, you touch that to navigate to other folders.
If you touch it once it navigates to the tracks in the folder and then you touch the album at the top to navigate to all the other albums (folders).

Does it make a mess of the Zoom like all the other 3rd party browsers? Only the default browser seems to be the only one that keeps the same zoom level between pages.

Stock browser seems to reset zoom when browsing to a new page as well. Boat does the same as stock.

Dumb question regarding apps bought from Android Market, as opposed to the free versions: what happens if I buy an app, install it, use it quite happily and then a few weeks/months later, do a factory reset and flash a new ROM?

Does my Google account know I've previously bought the paid-for version or would I have to buy it again?

If you don't know, you have a market account with google https://market.android.com/ can download stuff to your phone from a desktop!

anyone know why angry birds runs all slow and jerky on my other halfs Galaxy Ace? it runs a smooth as silk on my Xperia Arc which only has 200mhz more, but a mahoosive screen in comparison!!?!!

The Galaxy Ace has an old ARM11 while the Arc has a 45nm Snapdragon, like comparing a 2.8GHz pentium 4 vs 3GHz E8400

Stop multitasking to play it well? (lag is down to the games physics not graphics)

Edit: get rid of the Galaxy Ace... it's naff

Or just enable the low graphics mode in Angry Birds. The latest update supports parallax graphics so that would be quite demanding for older gpus.

I am using ADW Launcher and have a problem!

On the dock, I accidently got rid of the icon on the dock to bring up the App Drawer and I can't get it back.

I've had to resort to using the home button to open the App Drawer.

How can I get the button back without resetting ADW?

nope, didn't help...

I've cleared the memory, i've even put it into 'Flight' mode to see if its the adverts doing it!...

Still jerky and lagging soooo much!..

The phone is relativly new though!.. only came out the start of this year or summut!!.. the missus got it from O2 2 weeks ago as an upgrade!.. I'm not massivly impressed with its build quality (but I've got an Xperia Arc which is looverly!!)...

Suppose theres nowt can be done!... or could juice defender be doing it??.. thats the only other thing running (according to the task manager!)

i was going to say that's odd as it plays fine on a HTC Desire (not HD) but looking at the ace specs, the ace is very basic android phone even compared to the original desire. mind you,

long press on the screen, add launcher actions, select 'open/close app drawer'

drag to dock

edit:

additionally, to stop doing that in the future, press the menu button, select, 'lock desktop'

that will keep everything where you put it

feedly has been updated to 3.02 (previously was v2). Now has landscape support which is great for tablets.
