Essential Android Apps

Just tried out the new media player from the launcherpro bloke, shame there's no widget for it, or I'm just being blind.
 
There is a new alpha version out today as well, link was posted on Twitter a few hours ago, not sure what new stuff it brings as I didn't read the change log.

Yeah I would imagine at some point there will be a Widget and Lockscreen controls. Depending on which direction he's heading in, he may well integrate a Lockscreen into LP.
 
New update to Drag Racing is awesome. Although with my maxed out black Ferrari I don't really want to start racing level 1's in the new league table thing :p

Has anyone figured out the new tuning system? It's all well and good fiddling with the max drive slider to get a top speed of 250+, but beyond that I cant seem to make anything work for me :confused:

Is it possible to get the black Ferrari to do 1/4mile in under ~8.7 :confused: Or should I just buy the Venom GT!
 
The black 599 just can't cut it with the higher level bosses

Get the Venom and tune the **** out of it!! :) (costs a bit to upgrade/tune mind you! lol)
 
Got my Samsung Galaxy S today :) Never used Android before, don't want to read 6000 posts either lol

Could anyone recommend me a few apps. Need a mail app for my @live.co.uk account, I like MBoxMail on iOS because it synced the folders from Windows Live Mail etc. Ebuddy or something for msn. The facebook app which is in it looks OK.
Should I use the default browser on Froyo 2.2 or are there better ones?

Anything else I should get?

Try K-9 Mail, its a cracking mail app.

Umm says it doesn't work with hotmail accounts and therefore I guess @live ones as well.

I've just bought the Venom GT and the first upgrades on the engine is $200,000... the first turbo upgrade is $300,000.. you get the idea LOL a tuning pack for it is $1mil plus 1000RP lol

This will take a while methinks!!!

I wanna know what's going to appear in level 9 though!

I'm only getting last upgrades with my Koenigsegg. Gonna spend some time tuning it up and possibly getting Ferrari 599 NR as that's a very fast car up until level 7 and fun to drive.

Will probably save for the Veyron after that.
 
Get the Koenigsegg, it will be the best car up to level 8 (and will cost you 2.5M in total to have it upgraded...).

There's nothing much after that up until Venom.
 
I wouldn't bother with the veyron... it's fat and sluggish - it's fast though so will pull it back over a half mile, but your quarter miles will be won out of luck more than skill!

My progression from the 599NR was to the Koenigsegg, then to the Venom :)

Starting to wish I'd just maxed out the 'segg and tuned it rather than spending my $2m on a 'stock' car

Need to find some sort of 'get rich quick' scheme lol

Play online. At level 10 you get £10000 roughly per win and 12 respect points :)
