What's the best traffic monitoring app/widget? Not that I'm bothered as I have unlimited data but I'm curious. :)

I'm thinking that this kind of app would have to run frequently to get counter data and plot graphs so might be a battery muncher..

+1 for 3G Watchdog - great widget and accurate readings

I use 'Phoneusage' too

There is no internet police about it, at least have the balls to back up what you were implying. Do you really think anyone is that stupid here to not know what you meant.

What implications you choose to take from it are down to you. Either way I (genuinely, and I mean that) do not care of yours or others opinions on the matter. In accordance with forum rules I won't directly discuss warez or illegal apps. Just as torrents can be used for good as well as ill, the same goes for Aptoide... it is a delivery platform. For me that's discussion over. :)

Thanks for the recommendation on here for SwiftKey Beta X keyboard. Its absolutely fantastic, as is Go SMS. I was previously using the Gingerbread 2.3 download and ChompSMS. Haven't regretted leaving them since.

Yup, using swiftkey beta x now instead of the gingerbread keyboard, absolutely amazing :D

Khaaaaaaan, have you got a similar gingerbread black and green style (that you had for handcent) for go sms yet? Care to share it, if you do? :p

How does this compare to using Swype?

Tried swiftkey beta x for a couple of days and just got frustrated with it. Tried to guess my next words and got it wrong nearly the whole time :p

Went back to the Gingerbread keyboard and I'm typing a lot faster..

Swiftkey X Beta isn't a swipable keyboard, it's a normal keyboard but with better layout and features more inline with Cyanogen's 2.3 keyboard but with bigger keys.

Nexus18 I have created my own colours yeah but can't find where GoSMS stores these settings for appearance even though I've created the user setting. Looking at the app settings backup itself that's just the settings, ringtones, password details etc so that's not it. Need the customisation backup location.

I like swype a lot as well, although swiftkey is just a normal QWERTY keyboard with no swiping, swype is better for when your only using one hand to type I find, but I prefer using 2 hands and I don't find swype as good for that as the gingerbread or swiftkey keyboards.

Plus I found that the gingerbread keyboard prediction was much better than swype although this new swiftkey keyboard is amazing, it learns from your texts, emails etc. and continues to learn, so you will need to give it a day or 2 of use.

All comes down to personal preference in the end, should give it a go for a few days, plus it's free for now :)

Hmm, not got a clue where that is! :p

Just wondering, how is everybody finding GoSMS's performance when receiving and sending texts? While I love the app, it's just so slow...not a problem that I can fix, so I've just gone back to chompSMS again.

Dark theme here. I don't find it slow though^^ Just as fast as Handcent and stock.

Just tried out Thumb Keyboard and using the Gingerbread theme it's everything CM7 keyboard is but better :D

Adjusting keyboard height is a neat thing too :)

I like!

Perfectly fine for me as well, although I keep gosms running constantly and on normal mode I think.

Handcent SMS for me was sooo slow, took forever to open the main app and to open a conversation.

Ok, thanks :)

Will also check out that keyboard and see how it compares to swift key beta X.
