how does the amazon app store work - just make an amazon.com account?

I just set it up, but I took a bit of fiddling to get a correct US address. I'm now Benjo from North Carolina

So a few friends at work have just started using tube tap (http://www.tubetap.co.uk), basically it automatically applies for a refund if your tube train is delayed by more than 15min.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a similar app for android, I think I must be owed a small fortune in refunds by now which i've missed out on!!

Got Swiftkey. It annoys me on this phone having to press caps all the time to start a sentence with a capital letter. I'm used to the iPhone always doing this for me!

If I download amazons free app of the day, is it recognized by the android market that I've purchased it?

I'm just thinking what would happen if the amazon market eventually comes to Europe, we'll all make new UK accounts but we would have lost all the previous free apps we downloaded?

Mine certainly does... just tested it now in WHatsapp and it works fine. :confused:

works on mine just fine. check your keyboard settings

Ah whatsapp does work ok. I just had to register to view more skins etc in the htc hub and again when I filled out my name I had to manually capitalise things. Probably something I'll have to get used to. At least texts and email are ok

Just got 2.3. It's awesome. I'm used to the iPhone keyboard and this replicates it. Nice one

Although it doesn't seem to have a minimise button?
