Yea, BetterBatteryStats. It's free on XDA forum but costs on Market. Takes a bit of reading to decipher though

beautiful widgets for clock/weather combined (or just clock if you prefer...)

snowstorm for weather only

simi clock if you want a more 'simple' clock/weather

minimalistic text if you want a text clock or battery stats on the go...

experiment that's half the fun of it

Tut tut, you shouldn't use a task killer!

I don't think it's a bad idea to kill everything on boot. Run the apps you use, anything else that auto starts you either uninstall or live with, don't keep killing them.

Yeah, task killers ruin you rbattery life. They've not been needed since 2.1.

really? apps starting when they aren't needed uses battery. people liking control of their phones is another factor. i force apps to close when i don't want them to run. they shouldn't be running

hopefully we can get an msconfig type of app from google at some point. kinda like autorun but working better

Just because an app is listed in your task manager doesn't mean it's doing anything. Yes, killing it and it having to start again can take more battery than it sitting there doing nothing.

The phone has a task manager already, you don't really need another one.

The only apps to really be concerned about are active ones (which means they're open and using CPU), anything else is likely just sitting there doing nothing.

it's there, it shouldn't be. if its there, then it loaded when the phone started. x a load of apps and the phone isn't usable for a while because of apps starting when they shouldn't.

you know what would help battery life etc ? apps not loading at startup.
