FPse works fine for me, PSX4Droid doesn't work on stock based SGS2 firmware from what I can see (it didn't for me and others when I looked online for the problem anyways).
 
New SwiftkeyX update adds speed and things. Just tried the free trial and liked it quite a lot so bought the full version. £2.55 so so quite pricey for an app but I am typing faster using this than Thumb Keyboard so will keep it :)
 
Yeah, I like Swiftkey X, got it free a while back from Amazon :D.

Kreee, none atm, haven't got round to ordering a USB>HDMI cable so only playing stuff on the actual phone. Only played a bit of Resident Evil 1 though so it's not too bad on the phone. I'll probably swap to CM7 or something based on CM7 in the future once it's final and get the cable+my PS3 controller :).

I've mainly been playig Pokemon Red (completed it) and Pokemon Crystal on GBCoid so haven't really been too bothered about the touch screen controls so far.
 
Oh, I thought it did :(.

In that case I'll probably just have a look which controllers work with the stock bluetooth, and if there's a decent one (I'd prefer the PS3 one, but I'd want TV out too) maybe get one of those when I eventually get round to buying a cable.

Too busy playing Pokemon or random Android games that pop up on Amazon App Of The Day (Cut The Rope atm) to worry about that for now though.
 
Oh wait never mind. The search box on here doesnt stay open when you press to enter text. That was a short lived test to say the least.
 
Boat has been good for ages I've been using it since day 1!

The search box doesn't work all the time on many browsers. The search works on other forums though so probably another ocuk forum quirk where it's too old in support.

Is it just an MHL cable and a specific ROM that supports Bluetooth (PS3) controllers needed to play emulated stuff on the big screen?

I found a video on Youtube of someone doing it with a rooted device. He was just playing on the small screen though, which seemed a bit awkward and pointless. With HDMI it would be pretty cool so I could use it on my TV or Monitor at work.

Now I am confused. Are you saying you can only use the PS3 controller to control emulators if you just play on the small phone screen? No way to have Bluetooth controller and play on a big screen?
