with the hero i had widgets in the pull down status bar at the top to toggle on/off gps/wireless/sound etc but don't know if i can get the same from the market for 4.0. i found them very useful there rather than cluttering up my homescreen

It's a very bizarre name to be honest and people will inevitably associate it with games. It does make sense as you do 'play' all of the various forms of media, but still...

I'm sure they could have come up with something better.

Shadowgun bought, seems quite good but the controls aren't as precise as GTA3 is, for example. When moving around you often accidentally press fire, you have to drag around the fire button, it isn't smart enough to know you're moving and not firing so fires by default.

Will play it fully when I have the Galaxy S3 I think though, bigger screen might benefit it more.
