I have Swype. I really can't go back to tap typing, it feels like a step backwards!

The stock ICS apk I tried crashes constantly, so I'm trying this one from the market. So far all is well..

Missing a hide keyboard key and punctuation shown on the letter :(. Why did HTC have to brake the stock Sense one!

Download the Ics keyboard apk, force closes constantly :(

Which one?

I use to quite like swype but I hate the new version :p

Yeah, I don't think any other keyboard has the "hide" keyboard button.

HTC_IME sounds like the perfect keyboard for you :p

I can't remember where on earth the thread on XDA is though

Can you turn off the prediction bar in landscape on swiftkey?

I don't think you can for just the one screen mode, I could be wrong though.

EDIT:

Found it,

No idea if it will work on our sensation though, but it shouldn't do any harm to try it out :p

Um don't think so. Why would you want to though? Probably the best thing about swiftkey is its prediction. Not only does it predict the word you are currently typing, but it predicts the word you are going to type next, and it does it VERY well.

Right so ive sorted out the email issue with cerberus, but found this morning that it will only connect to/track the phone if its connected to wifi/mobile internet ? surely that cant be right ? so a thief would only need to turn these off to bypass cerberus altogether ?

Erm how else do you think you'd be able to track it? All these tracking systems work the same way.

The idea is you enable cerberus to track log and every time it gets a connection then it will log it on the map.

well i thought it tracked it by GPS lol ive obviously misunderstood how it works as i didnt know it would need an internet connection to track it

Thank heavens for the enablewifi/data command :)

Yes a data connection is required to receive and transmit the data! GPS is used by the phone to get the location but that's of little use when it has no data to let you know where it is :p

What is the best sat nav app. Googles one is decent but i find the routes its taking me on my commute to work is an extra 20 minutes worse at best then what i would do myself.

Have a look at Waze. If there are multiple routes to your destination it will allow you to choose which one to follow, giving you traffic info to see why a particular route has been suggested. Its free so nothing to lose - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.waze&feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDNd

Owning an SGS which does have known problems, I tried quite a lot of different apps and the most accurate was Co-Pilot.
Google Navigation would plant me in a middle of a field somewhere but Co-Pilot was always spot on.
Sygic was also good.

For anyone who can't get root access to their device (like me on my Transformer Prime) and you find web browsing is slow and crashing on pages with adverts, Opera have released a developer version here with support for desktop extensions. There's an adblock extension.

Whilst I prefer Chrome over Opera, it's a good temp solution to the **** web browsing I'm experiencing at the moment on the Transformer.
