Sigh. Still the same.

Just discovered its being caused by Bejeweled Blitz. So if anyone else has problems with media server suddenly consuming high amounts of battery power and wakelock. Kill Bejeweled Blitz (even the cached process) and it will return to normal.

It's a near exact replica of the desktop version so if you're familiar with the desktop version there's no learning curve but that does mean you've got to press really small areas and navigate on an interface that isn't made for a phone. Fine on a massive Note 2 screen.

Never heard of Serviio, I had been perfectly happy with ES File Explorer but I just really miss ServeToMe on the iOS platform.

Anyone got any recommendadtions for apps that will tell me about sport on tv similar to the "live sport on tv" app for iphone?

Looking for something that will tell me

x football game is on y channel at x time
a rugby match is on b channel at c time etc etc

Anyone found a decent app that will allow me to shutdown my windows server 2012 machine remotely over Wifi?

On the Iphone I was using ServerControl but Can't see anything similar at the moment :(

There may be an easier way but I suppose you could use something like Teamviewer. Certainly not a one-click solution though.

on my Iphone I purchased an app called "Next Episode" which was about £2, I see theres the same app for Androide, is there a way I can say transfer this app over without having to pay a 2nd time?

I used to use an jailbreak tweak for my iphone called Clever pin, which would disable the pin when i was connected to my home network. Any such app on Android? Non root. For now. :)

Any suggestions for a simple app that allows me to browse my PC files from my android phone over wifi without having to be at my pc? I've tried airdroid and wifi transfer but both require me to be at the pc.
