I can't stand the GoSMS Pro interface but they have skins which helps a little but it's still horrid. Would be nice to find a similar interface to Sliding with MMS support.

I use GoSMS Pro with an ICS theme

Don't have that stutter with nova using tablet transition, in fact it is the other way round for me! :p Apex only stutters on the homescreen with tablet transition, however, is fine for other animations but the deal breaker for me is the terrible micro stutter when scrolling backwards in the app drawer, I would use apex instead of nova for that but just can't with that issue, damn annoying to as I and many others have reported that in the XDA thread for ages now yet still no fix

Just find an old apk from the thread at XDA or somewhere and install it via estrongs or install the beta version if you haven't already, might contain a fix.

i don't get the microstutter in the app drawer, but then again i have all apps in folders on 1 page, then widgets in the next pages (dunno if that makes a scrap of difference).

iirc i have it notify me for a beta update, but haven't seen anything yet. i'll have a look and see what i can find

That will be why then! :p

I don't use folders in the app drawer so have about 5 pages of apps to scroll through, it only happens when scrolling back

Don't know about the widget section as I remove that tab.

whats the best email app to use for android that will allow for multiple email accounts. I've downloaded k-9 mail however I'm struggling to get it to set up my college work and nhs work email addresses, both of which are exchange. My personal gmail account worked fine but my other two really dont seem to want to work

There's not really much else except Stock, K9 and Maildroid.

I had a few snags when setting up K9 with my work exchange, I found removing the '/exchange' from the address worked :p

stock sense browser

If I wasn't, probably would be using quick ics browser (although this won't work on the GS 4 since the GS 4 doesn't have the stock/AOSP browser), boat, dolphin or xscope.

Usually use the aosp browser, but the new Opera Beta is impressive.

Just tried this, looks promising finally a browser that can be used with these forums

On the email front, stock email is fine but is there a good notifier -looking for one that pops up and includes the email.

Is there a Google account compatible browser (not Chrome), that syncs bookmarks, supports Flash and doesn't have the Infuriating text resizing issues of chrome?

+1. I'm suprised how well the stock Sense browser performs to be honest. Chrome bookmark sync (although I'm a desktop Firefox user so it's a tad annoying keeping these in sync), perfect text size (which most browsers have a problem with ) and flash support.

AOSP is good too but I feel it's missing a few things. You would probably need root to install this though...

As for other phones that can't have either, well... I haven't found one yet :(. Using Firefox on my tablet which seems find enough...

For this forum I would suggest trying opera beta. It doesn't show fonts all different sizes and when you reply it doesn't resize the screen to a silly size. Might move to it totally.

apex launcher is being a royal douche at the minute; if i restart my phone, all the widgets resize so they stretch off the screen... i've tried changing the gridsize and re-adding the widgets but it's still doing it. anyone know how to stop this ****?

What version of Apex are you using??

I'm on v2.0.1 and I don't have any Widget re-sizing problems!?!
