Yes, and my point is, surely that's irrelevant. My Nexus 7 works without it, my S4 doesn't. I just wondered why... Maybe it's a 4.3 thing? The article says its for 2.2 and above.

so did mine for a few minutes. I tried to ring it but that didnt work either. few minutes later it rang with a ring tone i've not heard before. . I figured it was working at that point so i checked the website again and now it's placed my phone in a scarily accurate position on the map lol.

Oh right. I would expect them to be rolling it out to all devices still, and then maybe the app will help manage those devices in some regard.

It's built within Google Services, like the new Map API's and such that were released during Google IO hence why it says 2.2 and above. Google Apps users for businesses and such have had this functionality for a while too.

It's part of the Google Play Services, hence why it seems like nothing is installed. Open Google Settings and you'll see Android Device Manager as an option. If the option is not in Google Settings then it means your Google Play Services has not been updated yet (and we have no control of forcing this update).

Make sure Google locations is enabled in the maps app as well (Maps -> Settings -> Google location settings), otherwise the webpage will say location unavaliable for your device.

It's pretty damn handy though, especially the ring option, my mother forgets where she places her phone so this may help her :p.

Google Music all access is now available in the UK. I had to go to settings & log back into my account there now running the free trial. It is £7.99 a month afterwards.

Both my Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 found (well they are sitting on my desk in front of me!! :D ) and I can send a 'Ring' command or wipe them (if I don't want to use Cerberus) :)

Could I have got the update last Saturday or was it not released by then? Something used a lot of data Saturday night and it says it was Google services but I didn't say to download any updates

I think 'Google Services' updates its self weather you tell it too or not!, but I think there is a setting on Google Play that tells your device to 'Only Update over Wi-Fi' so you save your data package getting hit! :)

Is there anyway to move apps to memory card for non-rooted Note II JB 4.1.2? I was trying to update my apps yesterday i got the dreaded "cannot update because not enough space"... I have deleted a few things to make some room.. but would be nice to move some apps to the memory card.
