Essential Blu Rays

War Of The Worlds (Spielberg - Tom Cruise version). Pretty amazing audio throughout but the early emergence scenes will literally shake your room to pieces if you've got a decent subwoofer.

The single best looking Blu-Ray I have ever seen, jaw dropping in places.

Shame about the film itself....
 
Sweet, got plenty of blu rays in my shopping list folder! Just need to get the overtime in work and I will be laughing!

The Underworld films look good (Kate Beckinsale in leather & HD is rather good too!)

Avatar although not the greatest film looks amazing.

Firefly series and Serenity look excellent as do the Bourne's and LOTRs

Planet Earth is just spectacular as well

Band of Borthers and Pacific are very eye pleasing and as mentioned Saving Private Ryan for the beach landings alone!!
