Essential iPhone Apps

Can anyone spec me an app that is an mp3 player but has FTP support?
Need it so I can ...FTP audio onto my phone and have iPod functions.
Any thoughts?
Cheers :)

Buzz player will do that but it depends if it's mp3 playerey enough for you as its primarily for video. It will however play almost anything you throw at it and supports FTP upnp smb etc.

Official Gmail App has appeared - http://itunes.apple.com/app/gmail/id422689480?mt=8

Looks to be a little disappointing though. Push doesn't work (I just get a big error when logging in) and if you use an authenticator, you'll have to input the mobile code every 30 days, it wont accept an application one.

I downloaded it and despite the obvious push shortcomings I just don't see the point. Only support for 1 gmail account too.

Mail works more than fine and I have no reason to use this.

This is what I thought when I heard about the app... What is the point when we already have a mail app built in :/

I'll try it nonetheless, see what it's all about :p

GarageBand is available for the iPhone now :)

It's free if you've previously purchased it for the iPad, otherwise £2.99.

Had an email today from Lloyds TSB letting me know they have launched a free banking app! At last a proper app to access and manage my bank accounts :)

According to the the App Store it has been available since 8th October, but I can't see any mention of it on here.

Thanks for the heads up on that, seems to work OK. Saves getting charged 25p by O2 for a text 'mini-statement'.

I will now have to make sure the characters in my 'memorable information' are near the start of the alphabet, takes age to scroll down to the numbers!
