Essential iPhone Apps

Had an email today from Lloyds TSB letting me know they have launched a free banking app! At last a proper app to access and manage my bank accounts :)

According to the the App Store it has been available since 8th October, but I can't see any mention of it on here.

Shame it's not really an app. Just a browser. All it does it load the mobile interface, could have achieved the same by browsing the website in Safari.

Thanks for the heads up on that, seems to work OK. Saves getting charged 25p by O2 for a text 'mini-statement'.

I will now have to make sure the characters in my 'memorable information' are near the start of the alphabet, takes age to scroll down to the numbers!

It's a nice app, but the only thing missing is a full statement view, mini statements suck.

Photogene2 is a seriously powerful image editor; offering nondestructive editing, collage maker and frames. All this for only 69p - check it out.

An old app that I recently rediscovered is microsoft photosynth, works really well on the 4S and definately worth a look if you havn't seen it. It makes spherical panoramas.

That's really funky! Never knew there was an iPhone version of it - going to have a play with that :)

Wow x a billion....

That app is unreal - can't believe it.

edit: Can even save to camera roll and it appear in Aperture via Photo Stream and you can crop it to give the impression of a wide angle lens.

Whats considered to be the best barcode scanner/price search?

Amazon and Ebay both have it built in now - the 2 online retailers I generally find to be the cheapest 99% of the time anyway.

I think Ebay bought Red Laser fairly recently so not sure how unbiased it is nowadays.
