Essential iPhone Apps

Air mouse is superb and it's probabaly the best app I've purchased from the store.

Can I ask what is it good for?

I've read the application description but I can't see it benefiting me as I have my laptop is next to me. Sounds really good though. What does everyone else use it for?

I use my Pc as mostly a media centre now so I watch my movie on the big screen via VLC, which its synced very very well with, so as an ultra stylish remote, that does just about everything else I can think of and more its simply amazing, the new Mac/Pc Icon arrangement for all your programmes is very very good too.

I went and Got their Photoshop tool selection palette, basically all the tools are laid out as buttons on the iPhone screen, as somone who works in PS all day, im gonna LOVE this too!

Whats the photoshop app called?

Well yes, but for quickly snappin to other tools and things its just sooooo much easier than having to move stuff about, get used to it.

I usually have the tool pallette on the left...have your phone to the left of the KB and it seem to be easier orientation wise.

Im hoping down the line their is a Quark/ Indesign one.

Should add the fav shortcuts are copy/save/paste buttons, and teh undo/redo buttons are a REAL world useful thing to have.

Working on CS2 PC (Win 7) and CS3 Mac (SL)

Ohh and other stupid things...their ais a touch zoom slider at the ver very top, and say the gradiant button is also the filler tool, tap on it twice and it cycles thru the other tool options.

I use it for mainly when I'm in bed. I can switch to anything without having to get back up from my comfy position. :D

It's great for putting another video on, turning sound up and down etc.

Doesn't sound much, but to me it's a big help.

I just got that logitech app, its good, appart from the accelerations a tad cazy for me. It even does 2 finger scrolling.

Can you log into your PC with it or do you have to be logged in first? I share my keyboard between my PC and Mac so if I could use this for quick tasks on my PC it would be great.

The Sky+ app has been updated today, total redesign. Big improvement, well worth it for any Sky subsciber, saved my bacon a few times ;)
