Essential iPhone Apps

Just got this last night... Can anyone explain how much leeway it gives you in terms of waking you up?

i.e. if I set my alarm for 7am and it senses I'm in 'deep sleep' is it going to leave me asleep until 10am, or wake me up at 5am?

If your alarm is at 7am it wakes will go off upto a maximum of 30 mins before. Mine was set for 9am today woke me up at 8.50am and wasn't in deep sleep. Also showed when I got woken up during the night. The alarm is quite though so always set your own alarm for back up.

Can't wait for the next Popcap game, some more Peggle levels would be great too.

Definitely need to do a Peggle 2. My entire family was hooked on Peggle at one point and I'm constantly being asked "is there a new Peggle yet?" We've got it on iPod, PC, Xbox, PS3... :D

The alarm starts low and builds up slowly, but it's calming music type stuff more than a screaming alarm. It wakes you up gently.

I've used it three days in a row now and it's normally about 10-15 mins earlier than I had actually set the alarm. This morning it was bang on the alarm. It all depends how awake it thinks you are.

The alarm is loud enough to wake me up usually, however I have a backup alarm set just incase.

Its very exciting to see what the iPhone/iPod platform is becoming... they have done something very clever, that being that I can't ever imagine having anything but an iPhone for literally, the rest of my life :D

Final Fantasy on my phone... that just seals the deal :D

Tried Sleep Cycle without being charged (USB cable is a couple of inches too short) and it lasted 4 hours from full charge :(

Need to check this out at the weekend!

What is the gameplay like/about? :o

Yeah its physics based, fire your bird out of a catapult and try to knock the pigs 'fortress' down around them, squashing all of them.

You adjust your angle and let fly. You get several different birds each time, some with different attributes (split into 3, speed up, bombs etc)

Sounds are pretty crazy, but its really quite addictive and the physics work very well.

I think theres even a lite version if you need to try it first, but its great.

And another vote for angry birds. I only got my first iPhone on Thursday and I've barely used any other apps yet, I've been completely glued to this game.

Good stuff, will definitely get this installed tonight. :)

EDIT: Finally got around to setting up the sky+ recording app. It seems great and will be useful if I am out the house and fancy recording a program. Tested it out and it took no longer than 15 seconds...most of that was spent by me navigating the menus! :o

I started the Adventure mode on PvZ again and it's harder this time, Crazy Dave or whatever his name chooses some of the plants for you making it more difficult. Want to do the achievements too. Was gutted when I completed it!
