Essential iPhone Apps

After having owned an iphone 3G 8GB for just over a week, I have to say I'm sold. I will be onto the new iphone as soon as its out.:D I don't think you can ever really know how good and user friendly these are until you actually own one.

I use to enjoy slating ppl who 'wasted money' on them :o

for the orange app (241 ickets) if i get a sim card and top it up, can I just enter that sims details into the app and itll work ok? (with my normal o2 sim in)
Unsure if anyone replied but I have a different (Orange) number in the Orange 241 app and it works fine on my O2 iphone - I do get texts on that number confirming the 241 code though. Dont think I had to verify it or anything...

ps3ud0

Guys, what would you say to a user review site for apps?

Rather like iTunes itself but hopefully with a better standard of review rather than loads of people rating 1 star because they had to pay for it...

I would say - that it's already been done a hundred times.

I thought about producing a site similar to this but after a bit of research, the market for these types of sites is already dead - there are loads of places to already get reviews from :(

It's very slow in volumne adjustment and the time line thingy is very difficult to practically use, the interface in airmouse is a lot more useful for me.

Probably been mentioned loads but the 'Physics' game is awesome! :D

It starts off nice and easy but gets quite difficult. Stuck on section 11 atm! :o

Not looking good is it. Bearing in mind Apples t&cs prohibit anything "that mimicks iPhone core functionality" such as safari im sceptical we will ever see it.

I don't understand the difference between Microsoft getting fined heavily for anti-competitive behavior but not Apple?

hi guys,

im just starting to try and get myself fit and healthy and need a app to help me do this. I have never really done any exercise in my life, so need a proper beginners guide type thing. I see iFitness is well reviewed but think it might be mainly for people who regularly exercise, rather than people with my lack of know how/energy

For all you moaning farts, Opera Mini for iPhone approved!

Enjoy kids.

Wow. I never thought that Apple would do that, not in a million years!

[edit] Downloaded. Much faster than Safari - going back and forward through your history is instant. But it just doesn't feel right. There are only two zoom-levels: full-size and page view. Zoomed-out pages are unreadable - text is just a solid block. Scrolling is laggy - not majorly, but enough to be disconcerting. All the UI elements and controls look non-native.

Not a bad first effort, but needs refining.
