Essential Tablet apps (Android)

Zinio has just been released which is a magazine viewer for Android tablets (There is already an ipad version). You get a couple of free magazines as well, such as a free copy of the latest PC Pro, and you can buy subscriptions, in some cases for a lot less than the dead tree version (e.g. National Geographic for £18 for the year)

That is a great improvement on the Readers Hub app which gave access to Zinio on the Galaxy Tab.

I would also recommend Plex as its now been updated to run on tablets. Great app for streaming videos of pretty much any format (runs my huge mkv files with no probs) from your pc to your tablet or phone (although there is a bug when using the SGS2  but there is a work around if u read their forums). Has a really nice polished look to it and gives you metadata for your films/tv shows. Can also stream music too.

Hey I am loving the dark theme for OCUK too and have just put it on my phone using Opera mobile but I would love to have it on Dolphin as well is this possible? As I love the gesture command in dolphin, especially the one that goes to the top and bottom of websites.

If its not possible to get the theme on dolphin are there shortcuts in Opera that will do similar things to the gestures in dolphin?

Can anyone recommend a good Tablet MSN Messenger application? Ideally something with separate plains for chat/contact list; rather than just a huge chat window?

Seems I need to sort out a proper login for ebuddy. Will try it out later.
Just installed thumb keyboard, very nice :)

WeatherPro has been updated and now supports tablets. Best weather app there is. Worth having for the rainfall radar and satellite map.

Really, whenever I try and load the app it just redirects me to the website?

Edit: Using Asus EEE Pad Transformer

Happens to me as well bud.

And as for 3.2, its unclear as of yet, but hopefully it will be this power drain issue and probably some little bits and tweaks etc
