arrg it installed before and ran fine. However i went to change the resolution applied it and mustve clicked the wrong one now i get the annoying cannot display this video mode message on my screen. Anyone know where the config is or how to edit the resolution options?

Look in your My Documents folder for etqwconfig.cfg and change the following lines to suit

seta r_customAspectRatioV "10"
seta r_customAspectRatioH "16"
seta r_aspectRatio "0"
seta r_customHeight "800"
seta r_customWidth "1280"

i.e. for 1024 x 768

seta r_customAspectRatioV "3"
seta r_customAspectRatioH "4"
seta r_aspectRatio "0"
seta r_customHeight "768"
seta r_customWidth "1024"

Try under this folder tree:

My Documents\Enemy Territory Quake Wars Public Beta\base\etqwconfig.cfg

Spec? I know Tom|Nbk was having similar issues on X2900XT...

I wouldnt be able to give you much advice other than driver related or put a post on the official forums...

Use Wordpad and Ctrl+F/F3

Disable AA, I take it you are using an ATi card, there as massive problems with AA and the ATi cards atm , especially with the HD2900XT.

2 days in a row now ive been unable to play this because of this "server is full" crap. Is their server refresh system that slow that 15 people can bounce into it in the space of a milisecond or something? :rolleyes:
