Euro 2008 Group A **Spoilers**

Portugal seem to be getting a lot of decisions their way, even so they've been the better team surprised they are still only 1-0 up.
 
good game very nice to watch and some very talented individual players.

Am getting slightly bored of hearing ronaldos name all the time now though its getting annoying.

Kazim seems quite a good player pretty confident nice prospect.

And deco has some skills! His long balls are awesome he must an aerial view of the pitch in his head to pull off some of them passes.
 
now weve seen the 4 teams i would imagine turkey and portugal through unless the czechs can pull there socks up they looked pap today, and made the swiss look semi decent lol
 
Not a bad game, Turkey never seemed like scoring though. Be interesting to see Portugal against a better team.

Thought Nani was pulling his usual tricks with that foul but it was actually quite nasty :o

Deco is a free agent this summer aswell, pos english side to snap him up?
 
I hope so tizor I think he plays well still and at 31 still has a few years left in him, a definate bargain could be had me thinks. a lot like the braziliian ronaldo who went to AC for bugger all really!
 
Didn't watch either game in full, but what I saw in them both, I enjoyed. Nice to watch football without thinking whats best for your own team. I think England should fail to qualify more often :D

Shame Ronaldo didn't stick that free kick in the net and win me some money though :D
 
Enjoyed both games, Portugal game was the better.

Ronaldo was excellent again, pulled the strings and is leagues ahead.
Simao was poor. Again. Very wasteful and doesn't do much, Quaresma should play ahead of him (same for Nani).
Moutinho played far too deep and was out of play too often.
Deco is very poor, everything he had the ball Portugal lost possession, second half he was abysmal.
Bosingwa was very good, Chelsea could have a real player there.
Ricardo will cost them goals, he's a bit worrying when he decides volleying first time is the answer...

I do worry that Ronaldo will go back to his antics from World Cup '06 though, it's something that all of Scolari's teams have been guilty of. Whilst Ronaldo wasn't as bad as he was in the WC there were a couple of questionable moments.

Also, how the hell did Aurelio stay on for that tackle against Nani, I don't even think he was booked, highly unlikely you'll see a worse tackle all tournament.
