Euro 2012 Qualifiers 7/8/11 October ** Spoilers**

I'd love to see a midfield of Johnson or Young on the left, Parker and Lampard (even though I'm not a huge Lampard fan, he's yet to play really well consistently for England) and Walcott on the right. Would give the left and right backs nightmares but they'll probably end up punting the long ball.

Might put a quid on an accumulator.

In fact I have. nothing too dramatic.

Is it just who really doesn't care a fig about england and international football these days?

They always let us down, conpletely unrelatable and the football is boring. I just find it an inconvenience for my weekly league games and only watch the tournaments because they fill a gap when the league season isn't on.

I tend to watch Spain, Holland, Brazil etc when international breaks come along. More entertaining.

What about Ze Germans? :p

I've enjoy watching similar teams and a few more, because basically they play better football and it's more entertaining like you said.

England are dull, over rated and painful to watch at International level with a manager who isn't sure what he's doing.

Even with Arsenal at their most dire in recent memory, I still care about them more than England. I probably would if they were in League 2 as well*.

*Not an entirely improbably occurance.

Young OR Johnson on the left and Walcott on the right....

Young's been about the best and most consistant player in the league this year(Aguero up there aswell), Johnson has played barely one game and then its on the right, Walcott is just a horrific excuse for a footballer.

There is no excuse, if Capello actually picked him to be a striker and played him upfront and saw what he could do, but putting him in as a midfielder is laughable, shows how much chance England have of winning anything, literally 0%, anyone who would pick Walcott on the wing is completely delusional.

Lampard rarely plays well for England because he's usually in a midfield 2, playing the more defensive role, your defensive midfielder doesn't burst into the box and get goals, Lampard has rarely been poor for England, just a completely different role. Barry is so horribly poor there that Lampard stays back, and previously with Gerrard did the same thing but for different reasons. Till Parker and Wilshire started getting games we haven't had a quality defensive midfielder of any kind for, god knows how long.

More recently with Wilshire/Parker/Lampard in midfield with Young on the left Young has been awesome, Lampards been in his prefered role and excellent, Parker's been excellent and Wilshire moves between offensively and defensive as required as he's equally good at both.

England starting line up:

Hart, Jones, Terry, Cahill, Cole, Walcott, Parker, Barry, Young, Bent, Rooney.
