Euro Millions, Tuesday 10th May Draw

Because numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 have as much chance as winning as 32, 33, 34, 35 and 36, which have as much chance as numbers 1, 14, 25, 37 and 49.
There is no logic in choosing your numbers as each as an equal chance as coming up.

But when was the last time a draw was made when no numbers above 31 came out?

People don't enter it for the other prizes. It's all about the dream of winning the jackpot.

If it wasn't for the other prizes I wouldn't play. I don't play normal lottery as it's to hard to win the £10 where eruo millions is pretty easy to make the 6.50, making most of your money back.

Ofcourse you'd still play, you'd be in with a chance of winning 85million or what ever silly amount it is. I don't see the point in playing if you're not hoping to win the jackpot. What's the point in breaking even?

Doesn't matter, the results are random. If you (and the people who you tellto play after you die ;)) play the lottery for long enough then ultimately every single possible combination will come up. I'm betting that my combination will come up tonight.

And, according to this website: http://www.llednulb.demon.co.uk/analysis.htm of the 10 balls with the heightest frequency of occuring, 6 are below 31.

There's actually only around 60 million people in the UK and illegal immigration is factored in to population estimates, and it's small. It's closer to half a person in the UK than one person.

mate, i can guarantee you its in the millions, the government has no clue, do you even watch uk border force?

their estimates are way off.

if i came here on a holiday visa, and never went back, they dont even check.

Waste less money and I would be more than happy with some of the lower prizes.6.50 make most of your money back, 100 a night out, 1-5k a holliday, 10k house deposit, 100k a house, 300k two houses, millions set up company.
It's not all abut the top prize.

if you have mates like that, i wouldnt call them mates ;)

also like 90% of new businesses fail within their first 3 years or something like that, so your actually just ******* it away, instead of them on something they want

Trust me, even closets mates would be like "come on you have £85 million, give me a million, I need it"

Yeah very true, most people would try and ask for money if you won the lottery, I bet it happens to every person that's won a few million on the lottery to be honest lol

I would make it 100% clear when I gave my money to friends and family that it would be the only money they would get from me.

It's all about the top prize because that's what attracts people to buy the tickets in the first place. Sure you might have a greater chance of winning a lower prize, but without the huge jackpot in the first place, the breakdown of the other prizes would be lower. I've not once met a person (other than yourself) who buys a lotto ticket in hope to break even, it's pointless. You buy a ticket such a this Euro Millions draw, in the hope of winning the jackpot, just as you would with the normal Lottery. Anything else comes second best.

Of course you buy it for the big prize, but without the smaller prizes to counter balance the stupidly low odds, I think you would find loads of people would give up. It's not about not wanting or hoping for the big prizes. It's the smaller prizes sucker us in as if you don't win, you can still win. Or at least break even.

Agreed, this is why lotto hotpicks exists, lower prize but a much higher chance of winning, 1/300,000 for £100k, 1/14,000 for £7k.

When do we find out the numbers?
my mate won £1400 on the grand national, when mon mone won and i never asked him for a tenner, true mates would never ask.

To be fair the difference between that and 85 million is that having 85 million a tiny amount of money could massively change someone elses life. £1400 is just a bit of extra cash, not massive amounts (and this is coming from a cheapo student :p)

You would think it was a secret given that the national lottery website makes no mention of it.

Not sure if thats sarcasm... I cant see it on the website still...... (Dont know why I'm even hoping to win =/)

Edit: Finally found it, 10:30pm is late for me :p
