Euro Truck Simulator 2 worthy of purchase

Got a speeding ticket earlier for 33 in a 30mph contraflow  Worst thing was i had the cruise control at 30 but was going down a hill!

Also took out the loan to get my own truck, then had 2 crashes :o One was my fault for going down a country A road at 56mph and just flying off the road :D The other some **** in a truck pulled out infront of me and i had to swerve which ended up with me trapped between oncoming and following cars. None moved so i had to ram my way out :( £800 down the train in 2 minutes

Does it play ok with a pad?

Yes very much so, I tweaked the steering sensitivity down a very comfortable/realistic amount. A wheel may have obvious advantages, but you can't easily look around like you can with controller.

I like the fact the freelook control lets you look out the driver window without changing to a different camera, useful for reversing.

Yeah that window camera is pretty handy in this, lucky with my wheel it also has a d-pad close to where you grip the wheel so I set the wheels d-pad for freelook

Engine malfunction on my poor truck after only 245 miles :( How long before it explodes will i be able to finish my 100 mile job?

Edit: Never mind just flipped it going round a hairpin at 50 :D Was way tighter than it looked on the map!

Bank just told me my credit is now up to £500k  Might upgrade from this crappy 300hp truck and get some real power.

Done that earlier, went from some crappy Renault to a Vaillant (read Volvo) Then upgraded the 600Bhp engine to a 750Bhp, damn things limited to 56Mph but it don't half get there snappish now, even pulling a load lol
