Euro Truck Simulator 2 worthy of purchase

After 22,000 miles, I passed my trusty MAN truck onto an employee, and picked up my new truck.

This bad boy is the pimpest of the pimped out trucks - Sporting 750 BHP and enough lighting to illuminate Heathrow, costing a massive £365,000 in total.

Can never have to many pics, she is a beast that's for sure.

The extra traffic mod is pretty good, I have been in some traffic jams 20 cars long lol. Lots of extra cars on motorways as well. Sometimes you do get a car that will just sit on a junction for ages down to the sheer flow of traffic and it just wont pull out.

The road from Berlin to Rozstock is awsome! Also there's a whole load of windy roads in the Czech Republic.

I failed to play this properly and instead caused a huge tailback as far as the eye could see. Took a while though.

Looks like a great sim but I would prefer just to bomb around in a sports car and see the sights, hehe.

I got my Scania to 83, I'm sure as was said above that a 750bhp truck could get to 100. This ended badly though, well, I only did 8% damage but it was a bit hairy.

I got my Renault to 88-89 mph with oversized load but ended up flipping the truck going into an overly sharp turn. :(

would this game work better with a stering wheel?I'm nearly tempted to buy one

Yeah but I wouldn't recommend buying one just for this game. If you play a lot of driving games then it'd be worth it. I use an xbox 360 controller and it works like a charm.

Not sure what you mean, when you open the DDS template this is what you get and this is what you add your stuff to, so you know where it is going as you can see it. You only get half a truck as it duplicates it on the other side, example:

I meant more the trailers, it's not so easy to pick the parts out.

Some nice screenshots people!

What's the difference between 4x2 and 6x2 tractor unit's? You can get more fuel on the 4x2, but with the 6x2 you get an extra axle with less fuel load...don't see a benefit there...

Also, do diesel prices vary between countries - about to buy 1200l of the stuff.

6x2 has another set of steering wheels, helps it turn in a tighter circle better, or well its supposed to, the 6x4 doesnt have another set of steering wheels and is supposed to be for heavy hauling.
