Euro Truck Simulator 2 worthy of purchase

The only truck to have is the Volvo fh16 and make sure you put the 3000nm engine in it also, I find the other makes underpowered I've not bothered doing anything else to my truck. I've just gone on to level 21 and have got 3 peeps working for me out of Dover. The only annoying thing is they don't earn very much money still. I would try not to get loans just stick to doing loads of quick jobs and build your money up it just takes a little longer that's all

Parking ?

Still waiting for del from the rain forest....

In the meantime, any of you fine truckers got any tips for reverse parking the trailers....i have tried and failed so many times...i just cant get it ....
I always end up at 90 degree angles ( and stuck ) and no where near the spot.

Loving the game though

try and get the trailer going backwards on the your side so you can lean out of the window and watch as you reverse, much easier and more realistic as your still in the cab.

Im lovin the game, just wish i never got the big loan lol.

Im only on level 9 but this is a real good game, especially with the mods applied ( volvo mod and theres a physics mod and the other non licensed trucks have been done. )

sky radio nl on the internet radio is good :D

I gave it a days full rest and I do still like it but the roads all look the same now, 2 garages with 7 trucks and 7 drivers, it is kind of losing its appeal, I would like the game to start you with a 7.5 truck and then you do small local jobs and then you maybe have a test for the license for the larger trucks and then tests for each of the categories you can upgrade, maybe to be successful you need a driver in each garage to have a certain specialty and choose a garage in a certain area which is busy for certain jobs, not so for others....?

My only tip is, go slow and use little steering movements and watch it carefully, don't over correct it and don't speed up, as this is when your steering can't keep up with the trailer pivoting. Grab a cheap delivery job, find a big area/depo and practice and find what works for you in terms of steering input and speed.

Amongst what others have said, try and get it stuck in your head what happens when you turn the wheel each way, lwheel will start to turn it right(in the direction of travel) and when you're almost at where you want to be heading slowly straighten up. Use the option to look out of the window down the back of the cab.

But think ahead of the action, a lot of them need to be done sooner than you'd expect.

Do you need to place 1 mod in the folder at a time and then start it up? Idk why my mods aren't working :(

You must be doing it wrong man, you put the individual .scs files (un-rar'd) in 'C:\Users\Tibbz2\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod' yeah? don't see how it doesn't work!

I've done exactly that, but stations haven't changed, I still have a limiter (yes I downloaded the physics mod that removed it) and none of the truck manufacturers have changed :(

I'm also having a lot of lag/slowdown when I turn any of my lights on? (Indicators and headlights) It's extremely annoying!

Expand your garage, hire two drivers and buy two trucks, let them level up before taking more loans and buying more trucks.

Don't invest in your truck until you can upgrade to something more powerful.

Might try this - only seem to do London/Felixstowe/Cambridge to Rotterdam/ Amsterdam/Brussels for circa 10K per trip. Most of Europe remains untapped. Get the drivers doing this run, whilst I go off and explore more of Europe...

Would it be a waste to give the drivers trucks upgraded, more powerful engines?

I've done that accidentally....

I was pulling the same trailer. Had another truck flash me out of a junction, but he had come too far forwards and I couldn't take a wide enough line to get the trailer around him. I then take 2-3 attempts to reverse and get past him eventually pulling it off. To find a mile+ queue behind him! :D
