Euromillions

It's insane, I was just trying to think what to do if I won... I genuinely wouldn't be able to spend that money!

All i want is 1 million quid, then i the rest of my life will be stress free

Will it though, in today's world? You would buy a nice house and a nice car mortgage/finance free. You will still have to work for the rest of your life.

I'm spending £14 on lucky dips. All of the loose change in my wallet.

This must be one of the highest jackpot's they have had? I can only think of the £160,000,000 being the next big one.

I don't see any reason to put more than £2 on the draw. Paying extra doesn't really raise your chances of winning by any significant amount.

I occasionally play euromillions not because I think I'll win but purely to make the fantasy feel a bit more real.

Depends how you look at it.

getting 5 lines gives you 5x better chance of winning than 1 line.

The odds are still huge.

Not needing to worry about a house/car + other big things and just living expenses is pretty stress free tbh. If it were me though i'd live the same as I do now, just purchase a 400k house for myself, another 400k house for rent income. A 25k car, and leave the rest for a rainy day. I could then cut down on work a bit have more time and a better quality of living

The odds are the same no matter how many lines you buy.

You still have to match the numbers on one line only.

The odds are the same per line, but if you have 5 lines, then your overall odds of winning the jackpot are 5/116m instead of 1/116m. Much better! If still incredibly remote.

This!

I've stopped playing the normal lottery on general principal since they literally halved my chance of winning by making it £2 a pop!

I know the old argument of "well you now get £25 for 3 numbers rather than £10!" - but seriously, I don't play the lottery to win £25 and since they haven't doubled the jackpot then no, you aren't having my money!

Just have the odd go on the Euromillions now so when I win tomorrow you won't see me for dust! :p

If i'm careful i can retire in my late early 50's and be done with it. Being mortgage free is a huge deal,
