Euromillions

won a tenner :)

and the other two numbers of the 5 were 28 and 43 - both two numbers down from the right ones.

about 178 if memory servers - the old posters get thrown out however!

I was just looking for that when I came across this:

I really don't understand people like this. Fair enough staying in your job if you love it, but hardly spending any money?

They celebrated at Domino's, stayed in the same house, have bought a Ford Kuga and have been on a holiday... wait for it... to Scotland, in a caravan. What on earth! Why even bother buying a ticket?

That story was only posted a month after they won though. I reckon you need to take a good 6 months to get advice and work out exactly how to invest and spend that kind of money, so just getting yourself a modest new car 'for the moment' is a reasonable first spend before you work out what to do next.

ah right sot he JP would sit at 161 and the rest would filter down thru the lowered tiered prizes, makes sense.

I was gutted last week for the pwerson that was 1 number shy of all, JP was like 122mil or so and the person that was one number shy only got like 110k or something, thats a massive difference for just 1 number

He is 41? Damn, I am growing old gracefully.

Rollover again and once more if nobody wins it.

They're in a £6 million mansion now. If I'd won as much they won, the first thing I would do would be looking at local mansions to buy, and I know for certain I wouldn't be back at work.

Guess his idea of happiness isn't about possession and he is content with what he's got. You got to respect that.

Yeah far different operating and owning yer own business, even more so if it's a passion/hobby you hold. Those of us that work solid hours as cogs in a system I think would be a bit different, well for me it is anyway lol Then again I'm just a half assed glorified phone monkey :p

i seem to recall some one in the confession thread stated they won but didnt tell any one because of the trust issue. of course it could have all been turd burgers

Yeah, I would get some top-dollar legal assistance before telling a soul. Trust would be a huge problem for me, I certainly wouldn't go public and it's not like my family are a horrible bunch of thieves. But money changes people.

If I owned my own guitar business like he does, I'd almost certainly be buying something like this over a Ford Kuga and holiday in Scotland (of all places!) :p Would probably be first on my list.

Nice to see he's spent a bit on a big house though. Would be madness to keep it all saved away for no reason.
